| 背景信息 | Coiled-coil domain containing 80 (CCDC80) is a protein that plays significant roles in adipogenesis and cancer biology. It is predominantly expressed in white adipose tissue, where it regulates adipocyte differentiation by modulating key transcription factors such as C/EBPα and PPARγ, while also inhibiting Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathways. CCDC80 has been identified as a potential tumor suppressor, as its ectopic expression can inhibit the growth of various cancer cell lines, including melanoma and thyroid carcinomas. Additionally, CCDC80 is involved in extracellular matrix organization and cell adhesion, enhancing E-cadherin expression, which is crucial for preventing tumor invasion.
