| 背景信息 | Coiled-coil domain containing 144C, pseudogene (CCDC144CP) is classified as a pseudogene located on human chromosome 17. While it originates from the CCDC144 family, which typically encodes proteins involved in dimerization and scaffolding within cytoskeletal or signaling complexes, CCDC144CP lacks full protein-coding potential due to disruptive mutations such as frameshifts and premature stop codons. Although it contains predicted coiled-coil domains that would theoretically enable protein-protein interactions and intracellular transport, genomic analyses indicate significant evolutionary decay. Current databases show no evidence of stable mRNA or protein expression in human tissues. Consequently, it is primarily recognized as a non-functional genomic element with no established role in human physiology or disease. |
