| 背景信息 | Strawberry notch homolog 1 (SBNO1) is a nuclear protein and member of the SF2 family, which includes DExD/H box helicases and Swi2/Snf2 chromatin remodelers, and is predicted to enable chromatin DNA and histone binding activities. SBNO1 plays a key role in transcriptional regulation, particularly by stimulating the activity of transcription factors such as Yap/Tead4 and Notch/Rbpj, and is essential for the activation of specific gene enhancers like Cdx2 during early embryonic development. It is involved in the regulation of neural stem cell proliferation, enhancing GSK3B phosphorylation through the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, and is exclusively localized in the nucleus throughout development. Disruption of SBNO1 in mouse models leads to embryonic arrest at the preimplantation stage due to loss of trophectoderm-specific gene expression, highlighting its critical developmental role; in humans, altered SBNO1 expression has been observed in glioblastoma, suggesting a potential link to disease. |
