| 背景信息 | Tubulin tyrosine ligase like 13 (TTLL13) is a cytosolic polyglutamylase that regulates microtubule modifications by elongating polyglutamate side chains on specific C-terminal glutamate residues of tubulin. It shows a preference for alpha-tubulin and utilizes ATP during the elongation phase of polyglutamylation. TTLL13 localizes to the cytosol and the ciliary basal body, where it participates in the formation of microtubule bundles.
