| 背景信息 | Tax1 binding protein 3 (TAX1BP3) is a small, conserved PDZ domain-containing protein that functions as a scaffolding adaptor in cell signaling and adhesion pathways. It interacts with diverse targets, including beta-catenin, RhoA, and viral oncoproteins like HTLV-1 Tax and HPV16 E6, to modulate Wnt signaling, Rho GTPase activity, and cell polarity. TAX1BP3 regulates cell proliferation, migration, and stress responses. In cancer, its overexpression alters adhesion dynamics and enhances invasion and radioresistance in gliomas. Clinically, TAX1BP3 variants are associated with specific developmental and cardiac syndromes, including dilated cardiomyopathy and septo-optic dysplasia phenotypes. |
