| 背景信息 | Angiopoietin-2 (ANGPT2) is a protein encoded by the ANGPT2 gene in humans. It is a naturally occurring antagonist for both ANGPT1 and the endothelial cell-specific receptor tyrosine kinase TIE2. ANGPT2 is primarily expressed by endothelial cells at sites of vascular remodeling and attenuates vascular stability by counteracting the effects of ANGPT1, and is involved in various physiological and pathological processes, including tumor growth and cardiovascular diseases. Elevated levels of ANGPT2 have been associated with several diseases, particularly in conditions like cancer, where it contributes to tumor angiogenesis and metastasis, and in cardiovascular disorders, where it may indicate endothelial dysfunction. |
