| 背景信息 | Praja ring finger ubiquitin ligase 2 (PJA2), is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that regulates signaling pathways critical for memory, inflammation, and cell growth. It ubiquiminates the regulatory subunits of PKA, targeting them for degradation and thereby sustaining PKA activity required for long-term memory formation. PJA2 also modulates innate immunity by regulating TLR2 signaling and participates in ciliogenesis via OFD1 ubiquitination. In the nervous system, it influences neuronal proliferation and has been linked to Alzheimer's disease pathology through the regulation of calcium signaling and amyloid-related genes. Clinically, PJA2 is associated with spinocerebellar ataxia 16 and is overexpressed in glioblastoma. |
