| 背景信息 | Cytohesin 1 interacting protein (CYTIP) is a cytoplasmic protein encoded by the CYTIP gene in humans and is characterized by two leucine zipper domains and a putative C-terminal nuclear targeting signal, lacking hydrophobic regions. CYTIP binds to cytohesin-1 (CYTH1), modulating the activation of ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs) by sequestering CYTH1 in the cytoplasm, thereby influencing intracellular signaling pathways. It is weakly expressed in resting natural killer (NK) and T cells but is upregulated during dendritic cell (DC) maturation and T cell activation, playing a key role in immune regulation. Functionally, CYTIP regulates lymphocyte adhesion, cell-cell interactions, and signaling cascades, particularly affecting DC-mediated immune responses. Deficiency in CYTIP leads to heightened inflammatory reactions, as observed in contact hypersensitivity models, with increased IL-12 production and enhanced immune activation, suggesting its involvement in controlling immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. |
