| 背景信息 | Cold shock domain containing E1 (CSDE1) is a cytoplasmic RNA-binding protein that regulates the translation and stability of target mRNAs. It contains multiple cold shock domains that recognize purine-rich single-stranded RNA motifs, often binding near start and stop codons. CSDE1 acts as an IRES trans-acting factor (ITAF), modulating the cap-independent translation of key proteins such as c-MYC and APAF1. It also participates in stress granule formation and miRNA biogenesis, serving as a molecular adaptor for various ribonucleoprotein complexes. In oncology, CSDE1 has emerged as a critical post-transcriptional regulator that coordinates mRNA regulons involved in proliferation, survival, and invasion. Depending on the cellular context and its binding partners, CSDE1 can exert either oncogenic or tumor-suppressive effects. |
