| 背景信息 | Ret finger protein like 2 (RFPL2), also known as RNF79, is a member of the RING-B30 family characterized by a tripartite structure containing a RING finger, a coiled-coil domain, and a B30.2 domain. It is predicted to function as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, facilitating protein-protein interactions through homo- or heterodimerization. RFPL2 is primarily localized to the cytoplasm and is involved in the regulation of gene expression and the innate immune response.
