| 背景信息 | Heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 4 like (HSPA4L) is a stress-inducible chaperone of the Hsp70 superfamily. It functions to prevent the aggregation of unfolded proteins and protect cells from proteotoxic stress, sharing structural and functional homology with HSPA4. Expressed in various tissues with enrichment in the testis, HSPA4L is critical for spermatogenesis and osmotic stress tolerance. In murine models, its deficiency leads to defects in lung maturation and fertility. In humans, HSPA4L is upregulated in certain leukemias, where it may support cell survival under stress conditions, making it a subject of interest in cancer biology. |
