| 背景信息 | Angiopoietin-like 1 (ANGPTL1), also known as angioarrestin, is a secreted glycoprotein belonging to the angiopoietin-like family. Characterized by an N-terminal coiled-coil domain and a C-terminal fibrinogen-like domain, ANGPTL1 does not function as a classical endothelial mitogen but acts as a potent anti-angiogenic and vascular-stabilizing factor. It inhibits VEGF and bFGF-induced endothelial cell proliferation, migration, and permeability while exerting anti-apoptotic effects via ERK and AKT signaling. Widely expressed in vascularized tissues such as the liver and thyroid, ANGPTL1 functions as a tumor suppressor. Its overexpression is correlated with reduced tumor growth and metastasis in hepatocellular carcinoma and breast cancer, mediated in part by the suppression of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition. |
