| 背景信息 | Coagulation factor X (Factor X) is a vitamin K-dependent serine protease zymogen synthesized in the liver. It plays a central role in the coagulation cascade as the first enzyme of the common pathway. Upon activation by Factor VIIa or Factor IXa, Factor Xa forms the prothrombinase complex with Factor Va, calcium, and phospholipids to convert prothrombin into thrombin, leading to fibrin clot formation. Factor X activity is tightly regulated by inhibitors like ZPI. Deficiency in Factor X is a rare bleeding disorder characterized by severe hemorrhage, while excessive activity contributes to thrombotic conditions. It is a major target for anticoagulant therapies. |
