| 背景信息 | Thy-1 cell surface antigen (THY1), also known as CD90, is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It features a single V-type Ig-like domain and lacks transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions, relying on its GPI anchor for cell membrane attachment. With a molecular weight of ~18–25 kDa, THY1 is expressed in neurons, fibroblasts, and activated endothelial cells, where it regulates cell adhesion, signal transduction, apoptosis, and immune responses. THY1 is implicated in diseases such as fibrosis, cancer, and neurodegeneration. In fibrotic disorders like idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, THY1 downregulation in fibroblasts promotes excessive extracellular matrix deposition. In cancers, including melanoma and ovarian carcinoma, THY1 acts as a tumor suppressor, with loss correlating to metastasis and poor prognosis. Additionally, THY1 modulates neuroinflammation and β-amyloid aggregation in Alzheimer’s disease, influencing disease progression. |
