| 背景信息 | C-C motif chemokine ligand 3 (CCL3), also known as macrophage inflammatory protein 1-alpha (MIP-1α), is a cytokine encoded by the CCL3 gene located on chromosome 17. It plays a crucial role in the immune response by recruiting inflammatory cells such as macrophages, monocytes, and neutrophils to sites of injury or infection through its interaction with receptors CCR1, CCR4, and CCR5. CCL3 is involved in various disease processes, particularly in hematological conditions; it has been implicated in the pathophysiology of leukemias by negatively regulating hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell proliferation, thereby influencing tumor growth and maintenance. Additionally, elevated levels of CCL3 have been associated with inflammatory diseases and conditions such as spinal cord injury, where it exacerbates secondary damage. |
