| 背景信息 | Integrin subunit alpha M (ITGAM), also known as CD11b, is a protein that forms part of the heterodimeric integrin αMβ2 molecule, crucial for leukocyte adhesion and migration. ITGAM is expressed on the surface of various leukocytes, including monocytes, granulocytes, macrophages, and natural killer cells, and plays a key role in inflammation, phagocytosis, and cell-mediated cytotoxicity. The αMβ2 integrin is involved in the complement system by binding to inactivated complement component 3b (iC3b), facilitating the phagocytosis of opsonized particles. Mutations in ITGAM have been associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), cardiovascular disease, and lupus nephritis, due to impaired cell adhesion and phagocytosis. Additionally, ITGAM has been implicated in osteoarthritis, where it may contribute to joint destruction by mediating the interaction between integrins and cytokines in the extracellular matrix. |
