| 背景信息 | FER tyrosine kinase (FER) is a cytosolic non-receptor tyrosine kinase of the FPS/FES family. Acting downstream of growth factor receptors such as EGFR and KIT, it regulates cytoskeletal dynamics, cell adhesion, and migration by phosphorylating substrates like cortactin and p120-catenin. FER is integral to the maintenance of cell-cell junctions and leukocyte recruitment. Functioning as a proto-oncogene, its dysregulation contributes to cancer progression and metastasis. Additionally, FER plays a role in regulating vascular permeability and is implicated in neuroinflammatory processes and neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis. |
