| 背景信息 | GABA type A receptor associated protein like 2 (MAP1LC3B/GABARAPL2) is a ubiquitin-like modifier protein that plays a critical role in intra-Golgi trafficking and autophagy. It functions by coupling NSF ATPase activity to the activation of SNARE proteins, such as GOSR1, to facilitate vesicle-mediated transport. In the context of autophagy, it is involved in phagophore maturation and mitophagy, helping to regulate mitochondrial quality and prevent the accumulation of reactive oxygen species. The protein exhibits binding affinities for phosphatidylethanolamine, microtubules, and various autophagy-related proteins including ULK1, ATG4B, and FAM134B. Localized to the Golgi and autophagosome membranes, GABARAPL2 acts as a key regulator of selective autophagy pathways and protein localization within the endoplasmic reticulum. |
