| 背景信息 | Cancer/testis antigen 1B (CTAG1A), also known as ESO1 or LAGE2A, is an X-linked protein belonging to the cancer-testis antigen family. Under physiological conditions, its expression is strictly limited to the testis, ovary, and fetal tissues. However, CTAG1A is aberrantly reactivated in various malignancies, including skin angiosarcoma and melanoma, where it serves as a tumor-specific marker. Due to its restricted normal tissue distribution and immunogenicity, CTAG1A is a significant target for cancer immunotherapy and vaccine development, offering a strategy to direct cytotoxic immune responses specifically against tumor cells. |
