| 背景信息 | C-C motif chemokine ligand 7 (CCL7), also known as monocyte chemotactic protein 3 (MCP-3), is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. It is closely related to CCL2 (MCP-1) and plays a crucial role in immune responses by attracting monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, dendritic cells, neutrophils, NK cells, and activated T lymphocytes to sites of inflammation. CCL7 is produced by various cell types, including stromal cells, keratinocytes, airway smooth muscle cells, and tumor cells. It mediates its effects through binding to multiple receptors, including CCR1, CCR2, CCR3, CCR5, and CCR10, which are G protein-coupled seven-transmembrane receptors. CCL7 is involved in antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal immune responses and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases and tumor progression. |
