| 背景信息 | Protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type J (PTPRJ), also known as CD148, is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase that regulates diverse cellular processes including growth, adhesion, and migration. It functions by dephosphorylating key signaling targets such as the PDGF receptor, EGFR, JAK2, and KDR, thereby acting as a potent negative regulator of oncogenic transformation and angiogenesis. PTPRJ is essential for vascular development, platelet formation, and the maintenance of the epithelial barrier. A secreted splice variant of the protein is also known to modulate endothelial adhesion molecules like ICAM-1. Clinically, PTPRJ acts as a tumor suppressor and is frequently downregulated in various malignancies, including colorectal, lung, and breast cancers. It is also genetically linked to Thrombocytopenia 10. |
