| 背景信息 | Interleukin 24 (IL24) is a cytokine belonging to the IL-10 family, produced by activated monocytes, macrophages, and various T and B cell subsets. It signals through two heterodimeric receptor complexes, IL-22R1/IL-20R2 and IL-20R1/IL-20R2, to activate JAK/STAT, ERK, JNK, and p38 MAPK pathways. IL-24 also interacts with the Sigma-1 receptor to induce endoplasmic reticulum stress and calcium mobilization. Functionally, it promotes cancer-specific apoptosis, inhibits angiogenesis by suppressing VEGF and TGF-α, and modulates host defense through the induction of antimicrobial peptides. In physiological contexts, it contributes to wound healing and mucosal immunity. Clinically, IL-24 is significantly upregulated in inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease, where it promotes mucosal inflammation. |
