| 背景信息 | SPARC like 1 (SPARCL1) is a secreted matricellular glycoprotein that modulates cell-matrix interactions and vascular stability. Structurally related to SPARC, it contains an acidic domain, a follistatin-like domain, and a C-terminal calcium-binding domain, allowing it to interact with collagen and other extracellular matrix components. SPARCL1 is prominently expressed in quiescent endothelial cells and astrocytes, where it acts to inhibit angiogenesis, regulate vessel permeability, and influence synapse organization. It serves as a functional antagonist to pro-proliferative signals, often suppressing tumor growth and maintaining endothelial integrity during inflammation. Clinical relevance is established in ocular health, where mutations or dysregulation of SPARCL1 are associated with congenital stromal corneal dystrophy. |
