| 背景信息 | Abraxas 2, BRISC complex subunit (ABRAXAS2), also known as ABRO1, is a scaffold protein essential for the assembly and function of the BRISC complex. This complex specifically recognizes and cleaves Lys-63-linked polyubiquitin chains, a process critical for regulating deubiquitination. ABRAXAS2 facilitates microtubule binding and localizes to the cytoplasm and midbody during cell division, where it supports mitotic spindle assembly and nuclear chromosome segregation by deubiquitinating NUMA1. It also plays a significant role in immune signaling by stabilizing the interferon receptor IFNAR1 and modulates p53 activation and apoptosis following DNA damage. Clinically, ABRAXAS2 is linked to Fanconi anemia complementation group I and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of myocardial infarction, reflecting its broad importance in genomic stability and cellular stress responses. |
