| 背景信息 | Protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 7 (PPP1R7), also known as SDS22, is a conserved regulatory subunit of serine/threonine protein phosphatase 1 (PP1). It binds PP1 catalytic subunits with high affinity, modulating their activity, subcellular localization, and substrate specificity. PPP1R7 is critical for mitotic spindle function and chromosome segregation. In cardiac tissue, it acts as a major regulator of the PP1 interactome; its deficiency leads to impaired contractile function and altered calcium handling. Genetically, the PPP1R7 locus is located in a region associated with 2q37 deletion syndrome and gnathodiaphyseal dysplasia, linking it to developmental anomalies. |
