| 背景信息 | C-C motif chemokine ligand 15 (CCL15) is a small secreted cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that serves as a potent chemoattractant for immune cells. It is primarily expressed in the liver, small intestine, and colon, where it mediates the recruitment of T-cells and monocytes through high-affinity binding to the CC chemokine receptor CCR1, with secondary interactions at CCR3. The biological activity of CCL15 is significantly enhanced by proteolytic processing of its N-terminus, resulting in truncated isoforms that exhibit increased potency in driving inflammatory cell migration. CCL15 is involved in various signaling pathways, including TGF-beta and glucocorticoid regulation, and plays a key role in regional immune surveillance and the inflammatory response within the gastrointestinal and hepatic systems. |
