| 背景信息 | MAP7 domain containing 1 (MAP7D1) is a microtubule-associated protein that functions as a key regulator of microtubule stability, cell motility, and neurite outgrowth. As a member of the MAP7 family, it facilitates the maintenance of acetylated, stable microtubules at the centrosome and along the cytoskeleton. MAP7D1 localizes to the cytoplasm and spindle apparatus, where it exerts structural molecule activity to modulate microtubule dynamics in both neuronal and non-neuronal cells. Unlike its paralog MAP7D2, which binds microtubules directly, MAP7D1 is specifically required for maintaining proper levels of tubulin acetylation. Loss of MAP7D1 disrupts the balance between microtubule stabilization and destabilization, leading to increased cell migration rates and altered neurite development. Its expression is functionally linked to other MAP7 family members, suggesting a coordinated mechanism for cytoskeletal organization. |
