| 背景信息 | RAB, member RAS oncogene family like 6 (RABL6) is a cytosolic member of the Ras superfamily of small GTPases that regulates cell growth and proliferation. Acting as a proto-oncogene, it drives the G1–S phase transition by inhibiting the tumor suppressor CDKN2A and modulating the RB1 and PP2A/AKT signaling pathways. RABL6 promotes cellular survival and proliferation, with overexpression frequently observed in various malignancies, including breast cancer. While multiple splice variants exist, its primary functional role involves enhancing oncogenic signaling. Genetically, the RABL6 locus is also associated with phenotypes such as Angelman syndrome through complex genomic interactions. |
