| 背景信息 | Tight junction associated protein 1 (TJAP1) is a peripheral membrane protein that plays a critical role in maintaining cellular architecture and junctional integrity. It is incorporated into tight junctions during the late stages of their formation and is also localized to the Golgi apparatus, where it regulates Golgi structure and vesicle trafficking. TJAP1 functions as a scaffolding protein, interacting with DLG1 to organize cell junctions and facilitate intracellular signaling.
