| 背景信息 | Ankyrin repeat domain 45 (ANKRD45) is a protein involved in the regulation of cell population proliferation and mitotic division. It is characterized by the presence of ankyrin repeats, which are common structural motifs that mediate protein-protein interactions. During the cell cycle, ANKRD45 localizes to critical mitotic structures, including the centrosome, cleavage furrow, and midbody, suggesting a functional role in cytokinesis and the spatial organization of cell division. Although it shares homology with paralogs such as tankyrase (TNKS), its specific molecular mechanisms and binding partners are not yet fully characterized. While its expression patterns are consistent with a role in active cell proliferation, there are currently no well-established clinical diseases directly attributed to mutations or dysregulation of ANKRD45. |
