| 背景信息 | C-type lectin domain family 4 member G (CLEC4G), also known as LSECtin, is a type II transmembrane protein that belongs to the C-type lectin superfamily. It is primarily expressed on the surface of liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs) and plays a crucial role in mediating cell-cell interactions and adhesion. CLEC4G contains a carbohydrate recognition domain (CRD) that binds to specific glycans, enabling it to interact with pathogens and facilitate their uptake and clearance by LSECs. Additionally, CLEC4G has been shown to interact with T cells and natural killer cells, suggesting a role in modulating immune responses. Dysregulation of CLEC4G has been linked to various liver diseases, such as viral hepatitis and liver fibrosis, where altered expression or function of the protein may contribute to disease progression. |
