| 背景信息 | Immunoglobulin superfamily containing leucine rich repeat 2 (ISLR2) is a protein predicted to be involved in the positive regulation of axon extension and is located on the cell surface. It belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and contains leucine-rich repeats. The gene encoding ISLR2 is associated with an autosomal recessive syndrome characterized by congenital hydrocephalus, arthrogryposis, and abdominal distension. The protein is expressed in various structures, including the alimentary system and branchial arches. ISLR2 has been studied in both human and mouse models, with various environmental and chemical factors affecting its expression and methylation, such as tetrabromobisphenol A, 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine, and benzo[a]pyrene. |
