| 背景信息 | PDZ domain containing ring finger 4 (PDZRN4) is a PDZ domain-containing RING finger E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase encoded on human chromosome 12. It is predicted to enable metal ion binding and ubiquitin-protein transferase activities, facilitating the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Structurally, its domains form stable three-dimensional configurations that may support functions such as DNA binding. PDZRN4 is expressed across diverse tissues, including the brain, endocrine glands, and reproductive organs. Functional studies suggest that ectopic expression of PDZRN4 inhibits cell proliferation and colony formation in hepatocellular carcinoma, indicating its potential role as a tumor suppressor. |
