| 背景信息 | LDL receptor related protein 11 (LRP11) is a 500-amino acid single-pass type I membrane glycoprotein belonging to the LDLR family. It exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms with molecular weights of 60 and 35 kDa. LRP11 enables phosphoprotein binding activity and is predicted to be involved in responses to cold, immobilization stress, and water deprivation. The protein is primarily located in the plasma membrane. LRP11 shares 67% amino acid identity with mouse LRP11 over residues 38-450. In terms of disease associations, LRP11 has been implicated in cervical cancer progression. Higher expression of LRP11 has been observed in high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions and cervical cancer tissues compared to normal cervix. LRP11 silencing in cervical cancer cell lines inhibited proliferation, migration, and invasion. |
