| 背景信息 | Adhesion G protein-coupled receptor F2 (ADGRF2P) is a member of the adhesion GPCR family, characterized by a large extracellular region containing adhesion-like motifs and a GPCR Autoproteolysis Inducing (GAIN) domain. Predicted to possess seven transmembrane helices and G protein-coupled signaling activity, it represents an orphan receptor with undefined ligands. Although the locus is annotated as a pseudogene in some reference databases, it retains coding potential for a functional membrane protein. Emerging genetic studies link the ADGRF2 locus to complex cortical dysplasias and brain malformations, suggesting a role in neurodevelopmental signaling and cortical architecture organization. |
