| 背景信息 | USP6 N-terminal like (USP6NL) is a protein that functions as a GTPase-activating protein for RAB5A and RAB43, playing a role in receptor trafficking and endocytosis. It is involved in various cellular processes, including plasma membrane to endosome transport, regulation of cilium assembly, and Golgi organization. USP6NL interacts with EPS8 to inhibit EGFR internalization and regulates actin dynamics. The protein is expressed in multiple tissues and has been implicated in several cancers. In glioblastoma multiforme, high levels of USP6NL are associated with therapy resistance, enhanced tumor growth, and invasion. USP6NL has been shown to delay EGFR endocytosis and degradation in breast cancer cells, leading to activated AKT signaling. |
