| 背景信息 | KIAA1143 (KIAA1143) is an uncharacterized human protein containing a DUF4604 domain and eukaryotic linear motifs associated with apoptotic regulation and actin cytoskeleton rearrangement. Although its precise molecular function remains to be fully elucidated, it is predicted to play roles in cell growth, cytokinesis, and the maintenance of neuronal structure through neurofilament-like subunits. Subcellularly, it has been observed in cytokinetic bridges and the nucleus. KIAA1143 undergoes various post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation, sumoylation, and N-myristoylation, which may regulate its interactions with partners such as EAPP, ECD, GPATCH1, and APP. While it is ubiquitously expressed, with higher levels detected in the brain, ovaries, and thyroid, there are currently no well-established clinical associations or diseases linked to this protein. |
