| 背景信息 | RAB37, member RAS oncogene family (RAB37) is a small GTPase that serves as a key regulator of intracellular vesicle trafficking, including vesicle formation, transport, and fusion with target membranes. It facilitates the translocation of secretory granules, particularly in mast cells, and coordinates cytoskeletal attachment to ensure precise protein transport. Localized to cytoplasmic vesicles and the endoplasmic reticulum-Golgi intermediate compartment, RAB37 is involved in innate immunity and metabolic pathways. Clinical relevance is established through its association with esophageal atresia and tracheoesophageal fistula, congenital anomalies where disrupted vesicle dynamics during embryogenesis may lead to abnormal esophageal development and connections between the respiratory and digestive tracts. |
