| 背景信息 | Required for meiotic nuclear division 5 homolog B (RMND5B) is a human protein predicted to function as an E3 ubiquitin ligase. It contains domains for zinc ion binding and is thought to contribute to ubiquitin-protein transferase activity, likely as a component of the CTLH complex. Based on its homology to yeast factors, RMND5B is suggested to play a role in meiotic nuclear division by regulating meiotic processes through targeted ubiquitination. Although it may interact with conserved double-strand break machinery, direct functional data in human systems remain limited. There are currently no robustly established clinical conditions or diseases associated with mutations or dysregulation of RMND5B. |
