| 背景信息 | Translin associated factor X (TSNAX), also known as TRAX, is a key component of the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) loading machinery. It interacts with translin (TSN) to form the C3PO heteromeric endoribonuclease complex, which facilitates gene silencing by cleaving the passenger strand of small interfering RNAs and pre-miRNAs. This activity is essential for efficient RNA interference and the regulation of synaptic plasticity through the degradation of specific microRNAs. TSNAX also possesses DNA-binding properties and participates in DNA repair pathways by interacting with proteins such as C1D and ATM. It contains nuclear localization signals that allow it to shuttle translin into the nucleus. Clinically, TSNAX is associated with the pathogenesis of schizophrenia and is linked to Fanconi anemia complementation group U, highlighting its importance in both neurological function and genomic stability. |
