| 背景信息 | Oncostatin M receptor (OSMR) is a type I cytokine receptor that forms heterodimeric complexes with gp130 or IL-31RA to mediate signaling by oncostatin M (OSM) and interleukin-31, respectively. The OSMR protein is widely expressed in non-hematopoietic cells and plays important roles in various biological processes, including inflammation, hematopoiesis, and bone metabolism. It activates multiple signaling pathways, such as JAK/STAT, MAPK, and PI3K, upon ligand binding. Structurally, OSMR contains extracellular immunoglobulin-like and fibronectin type III-like domains, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular domain with phosphorylation sites. Mutations in the OSMR gene are associated with primary localized cutaneous amyloidosis. Additionally, OSMR signaling has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer progression, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory disorders. |
