| 背景信息 | C1q and TNF related 1 (C1QTNF1), also known as CTRP1, is a secreted protein characterized by its collagen-binding activity and structural homology to the C1q and TNF superfamilies. It functions as a regulator of several physiological processes, including the negative regulation of platelet aggregation and the positive regulation of aldosterone secretion and cytosolic calcium concentrations. C1QTNF1 localizes to the extracellular space and plasma membrane, where it participates in complement cascades and retinol metabolism. It is considered a paralog of C1QTNF6 and plays a role in maintaining vascular and metabolic homeostasis. Clinically, elevated expression of C1QTNF1 is a prominent driver of kidney renal clear cell carcinoma progression. Its levels correlate with advanced pathologic stages, poor overall survival, and increased immune infiltration. Knockdown studies have demonstrated that C1QTNF1 is essential for the proliferation, migration, and invasion of renal cancer cells. |
