| 背景信息 | Tripartite motif containing 55 (TRIM55), also known as MuRF2, is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that plays a dual role in muscle development and immune regulation. In striated muscle, it associates with titin, myosin, and microtubules to act as a transient adaptor during sarcomere assembly. It regulates cardiomyocyte size by modulating E2F1-mediated gene expression and promotes apoptosis through the ubiquitination of DUSP1. In the immune system, TRIM55 is essential for noncanonical NF-κB signaling, where it mediates the ubiquitination of NFKB2 and the processing of p100 into p52, a process vital for B cell responses and antibody production. Clinically, TRIM55 is associated with Hyaline Body Myopathy and Myofibrillar Myopathy 9. Furthermore, its role in germinal center formation suggests it as a potential therapeutic target for autoimmune conditions like systemic lupus erythematosus. |
