| 背景信息 | Diphthamide biosynthesis 3 pseudogene 1 (DPH3P1) is a human processed pseudogene derived from the DPH3 gene, which encodes a zinc finger protein essential for diphthamide modification on elongation factor 2. Although generally classified as a non-coding pseudogene, DPH3P1 retains an open reading frame capable of producing a putative small protein product. Unlike its parental gene DPH3, which is implicated in tumor biology, DPH3P1 is not currently established as a driver or modifier in Mendelian disorders or cancer, and is primarily regarded as a genomic bystander with ambiguous translational significance. |
