| 背景信息 | Anillin, actin binding protein (ANLN) is a conserved cytoskeletal scaffolding protein that plays a central role in cytokinesis and the maintenance of cell-cell junctions. It features a multi-domain structure, including an N-terminal actin- and myosin-binding region and a C-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain. ANLN organizes the actomyosin cytoskeleton by binding directly to F-actin, non-muscle myosin II, and RhoA, which is essential for the integrity and positioning of the cleavage furrow during cell division. Beyond its role in mitosis, it contributes to cell migration and cortical organization. Clinically, ANLN is frequently overexpressed in various malignancies, particularly pancreatic cancer, where its upregulation correlates with increased tumorigenicity, cell migration, and poor prognosis, often operating through pathways involving mutated TP53. |
