| 背景信息 | Ly1 antibody reactive (LYAR) is a nucleolar zinc finger protein that plays a dual role in ribosome biogenesis and transcriptional regulation. It facilitates the processing of 47S/45S pre-rRNA into 32S/30S intermediates, thereby promoting the production of 18S and 28S rRNAs essential for cell growth. Additionally, LYAR acts as a transcriptional repressor and a negative regulator of innate antiviral signaling by binding to phosphorylated IRF3, which inhibits the expression of interferon-β and NF-κB-driven cytokines. Clinically, LYAR is significantly upregulated in various malignancies, including neuroblastoma and colorectal cancer, where it correlates with aggressive tumor behavior and poor prognosis. It is also implicated in the regulation of γ-globin expression, linking it to the pathophysiology of β-thalassemia. |
