| 背景信息 | Protocadherin-10 (PCDH10) is a calcium-dependent cell-adhesion protein of the non-clustered delta-protocadherin subfamily. Predominantly expressed in the nervous system, it functions as a receptor involved in establishing specific neuronal connections and regulating cell motility. In oncology, PCDH10 acts as a broad-spectrum tumor suppressor. Its promoter is frequently silenced by hypermethylation in multiple malignancies, including nasopharyngeal, gastric, and lung cancers. This epigenetic silencing correlates with increased tumor invasion, metastasis, and chemoresistance, identifying PCDH10 as a significant prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target. |
