| 背景信息 | Ubiquitin specific peptidase 25 (USP25) is a deubiquitinating enzyme that regulates protein stability and cellular homeostasis by counteracting ubiquitination. It plays a critical role in the innate immune response by deubiquitinating key mediators such as TRAF3, TRAF6, and RIG-I, thereby modulating antiviral defense and inflammatory signaling. Additionally, USP25 promotes Wnt/β-catenin signaling through the stabilization of tankyrases. Clinically, USP25 is strongly associated with the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease and Down syndrome, where it stabilizes amyloid precursor protein and exacerbates neuroinflammation. It is also implicated in the progression of lung cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, reflecting its broad influence on protein catabolism and immune regulation. |
