| 背景信息 | C-C motif chemokine ligand 26 (CCL26), also known as eotaxin-3, is a small secreted cytokine that functions as a potent chemoattractant for eosinophils and basophils. It exerts its biological effects primarily by binding to the CCR3 receptor, which triggers calcium mobilization, GTPase activation, and actin polymerization to facilitate leukocyte chemotaxis. CCL26 also interacts with the CX3CR1 receptor and is expressed in various tissues, including the heart, lungs, and IL-4-stimulated endothelial cells. Beyond its role in leukocyte recruitment, it exhibits antimicrobial activity against certain bacteria. Clinically, CCL26 is a key mediator of allergic inflammation and serves as a significant biomarker for diseases such as asthma, eosinophilic esophagitis, and Churg-Strauss syndrome. |
