| 背景信息 | MAGE family member D1 (MAGED1) is a ubiquitously expressed protein that plays diverse roles in cellular processes including differentiation, apoptosis, cell cycle regulation, tumorigenesis, and adipogenesis. It contains three functional domains: the DNA polymerase subunit domain (DNAPIII), the interspersed hexa-peptide repeat domain (IRD), and the MAGE homology domain (MHD). MAGED1 interacts with various proteins to regulate their expressions, such as PCNA in esophageal tumorigenesis, and proteins involved in apoptosis signaling pathways. Notably, its deficiency has been shown to attenuate Parkinson's disease progression by upregulating the Akt signaling pathway and downregulating the mTOR signaling pathway. MAGED1's involvement in neuronal apoptosis and its interaction with proteins like cAMP response element-binding protein highlight its role in synaptic transmission and learning and memory formation. |
